Research is at the center of all of NCCD’s work. NCCD collaborates with government agencies as well as local and national foundations to conduct social services research. Our research areas include child welfare, juvenile and criminal justice, adult protective services, and community violence prevention. The goal of our research is to help agencies and organizations help their clients in ways that are effective, efficient, and equitable. One of NCCD’s recent research projects examined the involvement of girls in gangs in California.
NCCD staff are experts in identifying research questions, and we can work with you to identify the research needs of your agency or organization. For more information on how NCCD can provide research-based solutions to your agency or organization, please contact us.
