World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

Elder abuse is an international problem. Despite various methods across the globe of mitigating the impact of this issue, public awareness is a strategy that unites us all. On June 15, 2006, World Elder Abuse Awareness Day was launched as a global strategy to bring elder abuse to the forefront.
