August 25, 2020 | by Becca SchimmelWUWM 89.7

Two professors of social work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee discuss adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and how COVID-19 may exacerbate them during an interview on Milwaukee’s public radio station. It is difficult to predict how young children will be affected by this point in time, they say, but people interested in child welfare, trauma, and ACES should want to understand it. A short summary of the interview and a link to the 20-minute interview are available here.
