Probation Leaders Need to Take These 5 Steps Now to Fight Racial Injustice

In a new opinion piece, Steve Bishop, Senior Associate at the Annie E. Casey Foundation and a partner in NCCD’s juvenile justice work, suggests five concrete steps that probation leaders should take immediately to fight the racial injustice faced by those involved in the justice system. A former probation officer, Bishop says we know what reforms are needed, but mobilization to make those changes must happen first.
