Minneapolis/St. Paul Will Not Build Juvenile Justice Facility

The Minnesota Star Tribune reports that Ramsey and Hennepin counties, which comprise the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area, have decided against building a new, large juvenile justice facility. After years of discussion and recent protests, county leaders will instead focus on programming at extant facilities, with a goal of keeping youth in their communities. Read the full article here.
