Diversity and Inclusion

NCCD is committed to equitable approaches and treatment in the social systems that we work in, and committed to diversity and inclusion in our own workplace. In 2016 NCCD established a Diversity and Inclusion Committee. The three primary goals of the committee are:

  1. Build capacity and competency to lead and manage a diverse workforce.
  2. Create a work environment that ensures equal access to opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  3. Develop cultural competence and responsiveness to maximize effectiveness with clients and partners, while considering and respecting each individual’s unique perspectives, experience, and needs.
